Despite police report finding our client solely at fault for crossing the street outside of crosswalk and between stopped vehicles. The insurance company initially refused to pay any amount to settle the case prior to filing the lawsuit. However, after our investigation was complete and depositions of all parties and witnesses were taken by Mr. Lederer, the defense was forced to change its position and settle the case.
